 Natural Born Riders
 The series returns for a second year.
The first leg of the NBR Tour heads up to Castleford this Thursday 27th October to find the second set of finalists for the grand final at Milton Keynes Xscape in November. Last year’s leg at Castleford Xscape was one of the highlights of the event due to the strong and close knit scene that Castleford has. The atmosphere was amazing as was the riding with the Castleford crew going on to perform well in the finals. The event will take place on Thursday 27th October commencing at 7.00pm and finishing at 11pm. Riders can either pre register on line at www.naturalbornriders.co.uk or simply turn up on the day to take part. There will be no entry fee to the actual competition however regular park fees will apply. As always there will be three divisions in both ski and snowboard including Men's, Under 16’s and Women's who will all ride in a jam format before 8 from each division will be picked to take part in a 2 run slopestyle final. The three podium finishers will then qualify for the grand final at MK Xscape. Prizes on the night include swag from our sponsors that include EA SPORTS BIG™ - SSX™ On Tour, Oakley, Magic: The Gathering, Extreme Sports Channel, Snowboard Club UK, Armada Skis, Sapient Snowboards and Blue Wahoo. In addition Oakley will be putting up a pair of Wisdom Goggles for a Big Air challenge on the biggest hit in the park for both skiers and snowboarders. Last year Castleford was the venue for the final so the level of riding was really strong. Can the local Castleford crew give as strong a showing and prove that the levels have risen over the past year? With skiers such as last years winner Andy Collin and the under 18 snowboard winner James Thompson counting themselves as locals the answer will very likely be yes! To coincide with the Sheffield leg was the launch date of EA SPORTS BIG™ - SSX™ On Tour so for this leg the guys from EA will be bringing down pods for everyone to try out the awesome new game as well as providing some great prizes for the winners of all the legs and the finals.
