 SnowFlex International Ski and Snowboard Jam
A huge international event to showcase the massive SnowFlex slope an hour from Calais.
According to all the competitors, sponsors and press in attendance the event was a complete success - and the slope even more so! Seventy eight entrants from afar a field as England, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, & Spain (the Spanish Olympic Freestyle Ski team, no less) took part in the competition. Also in attendance at the event were clients from Spain, Portugal & Germany, 50 plus mums, dads, family and friends. The staff at the Loisinord Ski Centre lodge recorded in excess of 8000 spectators from the locality during the course of the day – which was a fantastic result! The party and award giving at night was a great event too with really great prizes donated by generous sponsors including Envirosport, d30, the Snowboard Asylum (TSA), Westbeach and the Cambridge in Nœux Les Mines. Prizes included snowboards, board bags, ski/board jackets, safety hats and a major cash prize of €1000 for the team event.
