Sheffield Freeze 2002
Blows the lid off dry slope competitions as we know them. The event has just taken a serious kick into the realms of the huge event sector. Also features NY Sushi Big Bang 7.
Confirmed riders for the event so far are: Cyril Neri, who is ranked in the Snowboarding World - Top 20 for Big Air and Half Pipe. He is a real nice bloke as well. To top the Event Hit List, we have Swiss riders Alex Coudray, Mederic Landois and Anthony Holland and UK legends Mark Hartley, Paul Cooper and Rob Yoemans. Not to forget the Superstar Snowblader Mike Wakefield who managed 30 inverted tricks in his last comp. Provisional riders for the event are: Jonas Emery who is a bit handy in the pipe, also Pascal Imhof and Mickael Deschenaux who can pull some mean tricks too. Hopefully these guy will make it if they finish some filming they are doing. So if all this hasn’t got you foaming at the mouth, we have some wicked parties. On the Saturday night we have the "Salomon Chill Zone Party" and on the Sunday night the infamous NY SUSHI Big Bang 7.
