 High and Dry
A day long jam.
High and Dry had 54 competitors in total, after an hour and a half jam they whittled this down to 10 males, Chris Woods, Zoggie, James Murray, Aiden Maloney, Martin Rapley, Mike Rhodes, Ryan Evans, Crazy Dave Moore, James Thorne and of course Duncan Carr. The 5 ladies who entered instantly qualified - Liz Osbourne, Cat Marples, Kate Loggatt, Hazel Petty and Laura Berry. TheBoarder's favourite, Laura Berry, later crashed out on the Big Air with a bruised bum, but she's recovering quickly and has already been back at MK, albeit it behind the camera. The 5 junior finalists were Sam Barnes, Shaun Richmond, Alex Marjoram, Sam Cullum and Laurie Marjoram. The finalists battled it out for a further 35 minutes! They then held a half hour Big Air contest, judge on distance and a clean landing. The big air was an all or nothing event, so only first places were awarded.
