This year The Brits goes back to its roots.
![]() This event is aimed at ‘grounding’ the Brits to reintroduce the spark that has been lost in recent events before pushing out again to Alpine resorts with a new step forward. The BSA will be resurrecting the two titles of old, those of Freestyle Champion and Alpine Champion. The events will run 15th to 17th March 2002, Cairngorm. The BSA are working with Cairngorm Mountain Ltd to bring together a three day program as follows. TimetableFriday 15 March British Alpine event (Giant Slalom) Saturday 16 March British Freestyle event (Big Air) Sunday 17 March Jam Session/Slope Style in Halfpipe and Funpark. EntryOn-day registration will be available. Cost (Includes Lift Pass) Adult Child(u16) One day £30 £25 Two days £45 £40 Three days £60 £55 Registration/Race OfficeRegistration will take place daily from 8.30am to 10.30am in the restaurant, with events due to kick off at 12.00. LiabilityAll athletes, officials and other representatives will attend at their own risk. The organiser declines any liability for damages or injuries of athletes, officials or any other person. Helmets are mandatory for the GS and highly recommended for all events. Age CategoriesThe following age categories are recognized by the BSA/ISF for both Men and Women.
