The British Snowboard and Freeski Championships, now ranked as a prestigious 3-star TTR event, returns to Laax, Switzerland, from the 10th – 17th March 2007 for the ultimate snowsports festival of the year - The Brits. Part competition, part music festival, The Brits offers a mixture of the best of British snowboard and freeski action, alongside cutting edge tunes in Europe's premiere freestyle resort.

Join over 1000 revelers at The BRITS for a week of boarding, skiing, Dj's, club nights and good old times.

Packages start from £194

DJ Yoda, Ugly Duckling...

World-ranked event

Ever-efficient Swiss transport

Voted number one destination

Non stop freestyle action

The Brits is a true celebration of everything that is great about UK snowboarding and freesking, uniting kids, rookies, top pros and Olympians to compete in Halfpipe, Skiercross, Snowboardcross, Big Air and Slopestyle disciplines. It gives competitors, of all abilities, the opportunity to show off their skills, become a British Champion and collect prestigious points for the TTR Ranking System. With over 800 Brits in attendance at last year’s event, European records smashed at the Air Time contest and an inspiring display of world-class riding from athletes like Dan Wakeham, Jenny Jones, Paddy Graham and Naomi Edmonson, the 2007 Brits promises to be a sure fire hit.

Often eclipsed by its epic freestyle status, Laax boasts some of Europe’s finest freeriding terrain, so park-jock or backcountry-cruiser, you’re back is covered. And with its heavy après policy throwing down some of the country’s finest DJ turntablists, plus of course its very special guests (TBA), The Brits really does have everything you’d ever want, and then some.

Check out some world-class freestyle action, tear yourself some new lines, and then jump shoulder-to-shoulder with the cream of the UK Snowboard and Freeski scene in Laax’s stylish ‘Riders Palace’ and the famous 'Crap Bar'. Previous guests to have graced The Brits include the likes of DJ Yoda, The Cuban Brothers, Ugly Duckling, Dub Pistols and many more.

Seven day packages start from as little as £188pp including Bed & Breakfast, lift pass, event bag including a wrist band which provides you with special discounts in resort on food, drink, and most importantly entry to the hottest parties. Swiss International Airlines are also offering a great discount on flights, it’s a first come first serve basis, so get booking. For more information and to book a package, check out: www.aimseries.com or call Katharina Becker in Laax on 0041 (0)81 927 70 61

Newly crowned as a 3-star TTR Event (Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour) The 2007 Brits will set the stage for UK talent to impress, giving them the opportunity to win British Championship Titles, secure points and gain an overall World Ranking Position alongside the world’s best snowboarders. Check out www.ttrworldtour.com for more information.
