 XBOX Big Day Out
Bring on the year of the world record! That’s right boys and girls at the 2007 Xbox® Big Day Out we are going to set the first official world record for the highest ‘Air.’
The 11th anniversary of The Xbox Big Day Out once again brings four days of music, festivities and world-class snowboarding to the centre of Val d’Isère. What started a decade ago as a friendly snowboard riding session and mountain barbeque has grown into a colossal event sponsored by Xbox, Quiksilver and Burton with beer supplied by Fosters. Live performances by chart-topping acts and DJ sensations at the phenomenal night-time final should have the 30,000 spectators bouncing like never before. Each night will see an official sponsor’s party with guest DJ’s and great prizes. More details to be announced over the coming months. Of course at the heart of the action, Xbox will be back with the next generation of gaming and entertainment, the Xbox 360®, with all the latest games for everyone to test their skills throughout the week. As if that wasn’t enough, The Quiksilver Tour is coming to town, packed full of International Team Riders. The whole team will be holding a signing session at the Quiksilver Store downtown Wednesday night at 7pm with Mathieu Crepel, Markku Koski, Hampus Mosesson, Candide Thovex and many others. The week promises to be one of the craziest on the calendar with a packed schedule: • Saturday 24th February : Riders Arrive • Sunday 25th February : Warm Up Sessions • Monday 26th February : Qualifying Stages • Tuesday 27th February : Qualifying Stages • Wednesday 28th February : World Record Session • Thursday 1st March : The Grand Final The tried and tested course will consist of a 20m Tabletop, into a MASSIVE Hip Jump (la Monstor), with 5 Handrails and a Flaming Wall Ride.
