Big Air and Quarterpipe Jam Finale
2006 Orange AIM Series National Artificial Big Air Championships

The Orange AIM Series, looks set to end its 2006 UK event series, in style, when it presents the National Artificial Big Air Championships at Warmwell Ski Centre on Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October. The finale to the successful 2006 event series will also open the door to budding Shaun Whites and Terje’s out there by offering the top two skiers and snowboarders, competing in the quarterpipe Jam, spots to compete in the British Quarterpipe Championships at this year’s Metro Ski & Snowboard Show.

The event will bring the UK’s snowboard and ski elite to Warmwell including favourites for the Big Air titles, 2006 British Snowboard Big Air and Slopestyle Champion Nate Kern, and 2006 British Freeski Slopestyle Champion, Andy Bennett, both certain to put on a show and pull off some sick tricks over the big 8m kicker.

In the Quarterpipe Jam riders and skiers will show off their skills, inspired by the chance of winning one of the prestigious Metro Ski & Snowboard show competitor spots. The jam will mark the first time that open entry riders & skiers will get the chance to compete for a spot into the invited British Quarterpipe Championships at the Metro Ski Show in London on Friday 20th October. UK talent will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of thousands of spectators and compete alongside UK super stars, Dan Wakeham and Paddy Graham, to name just a few.
