It's time to brush the dust of your helmet, re-stock the rub on wax and don the body armour as the indoor Boarder / Skiercross Championships return to Milton Keynes Xscape on Saturday 20th August 2005.

Racing against the clock and fellow opponents in heats of three or four, competitors will go head to head until the fastest indoor rider is left victorious. A relaxed slopestyle competition will follow with rider’s expressing individual style on Xscape’s selection of freestyle toys.

In the skiercross local skier Alex Collin will no doubt pull out all stops to better his 3rd place from last year and representing the ATV crew local snowboarders Chris Chatt and Steve Revill and girl ripper Lucy Passmore will all be keen to impress. With local pro’s Laura Berry and James Carr filming in New Zealand the door is left wide open for aspiring champions to shine through and to bag the Salomon Best Un-sponsored title.

REMEMBER, ON-LINE PRE REGISTRATION ONLY! www.orangeaimseries.com

The Orange AIM Series has kept its wings from last year and is, again, teaming up with Red Bull for the prestigious Red Bull Jibber of the Day snowboard jam session. This Slopestyle event will take place at the AIM events in Milton Keynes, Castleford and Warmwell. The talented winner at each Jibber of the Day session will win the exclusive golden ticket to ride at a 2005 International Red Bull event yet to be released.

The very popular FREE beginner lessons are back as the Animal Snowboard Academy and the Trespass Ski Academy offer 125 one hour snowboard or ski lesson with a qualified instructor on the Xscape nursery slope. The initiative to increase participation and promote local facilities is open for all ages between 12 (noon) and 4 pm. Equipment is supplied by Milton Keynes Xscape and all participants get a goody bag. To secure a FREE lesson pre-register on: www.orangeaimseries.com before 18th August or call 07843 209 846 from the 19th August.
