SNO!52.5 / Guinness World Record Rail Atempt
The date is now 100%! This will be an open event to enter the Guinness World Record books for the longest rail ride in the UK.
SNO!zone at Xscape Milton Keynes is hosting a World Record event on 14th October to find the person who can slide the longest rail and attempt a Guinness World Record™. Come and join us and it could be you! All ages are welcome to come and enter the qualifying rounds on the rails (riders must be of a recreational standard – and ideally be able to slide rails!*). The successful qualifiers of both Amateurs and Professionals will then go through to the final competition in the evening to attempt the Guinness World Record™ on a 52.5m rail! It is just £25 per person to enter the competition which includes equipment hire, an hour slope time to practice on the rail, entry into the qualifying round as well the evening session if you qualify. From the 22nd September you can register for the competition at SNO!zone in Xscape Milton Keynes or online at www.snozoneuk.com, (more details including timings available online). Arnaud Palu, Managing Director of SNO!zone comments: “This is a really exciting event to be hosting in the UK - it’s the first of its kind in the world and so we are looking forward to a great competition where we can hopefully make a Guinness World Record™ on the slopes of SNO!zone!” *Minimum recreational standard must be met to use the snow slope (ability to control speed, link turns and use a poma lift). The SNO!52.5 / Guinness World Record Rail Atempt event page can be administered by dunx (Dunx), stu (Stu Brass), spencer (Spencer Claridge) and office (Office). Page views: 6130 |
