    Snowboard Club UK

    Welcome to the website of Snowboard Club UK.

    Launched in April 1997, the site grew to become the definitive UK resource for information on slopes, events, riders and more.

    We love snowboarding. Our aim is to keep you informed and get you involved both on and off the hill.

    Our online and offline communities are friendly and enthusiastic. Create a free account and start building your profile.

    Club Membership

    Our Club launched in October 2004 to enable UK riders to get more from their snowboarding. Our members save £100s on equipment, holidays and slope time.

    Club Bashes are a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and have a laugh on the slopes in the UK and abroad.

    In 2015, Action Sports Club launched, providing more discounts across more sports for all members.

Middlesbrough indoor slope has council backing
MILLIONS of new visitors and hundreds of new jobs – Middlesbrough’s snow centre development is set to help transform the town’s city ambitions into a reality. The £30m Middlehaven development – the work of private Teesside company Cool Runnings (NE) Ltd - recently received unanimous backing from Middlesbrough Council’s planning committee allowing it to take a major step forward. Middlebrough indoor slope plans approved
Loathed as we are to announce this on April Fools Day, it looks like the plans for the Middlesbrough indoor snow centre has been approved at the council's planning meeting yesterday. Councillors took just 15 minutes to end a two-year wait and unanimously back the multi-million pound development on brownfield land in Middlehaven.

£35K To Board All Day
The Medway Snowbowl are still looking for more instructors, such has the response for lessons been to date. They even have a position for Head of School vacant at £35,000 pa (and no, they are not joking). Instructor rates are up to £15.00 per hour.
Aberdeen slopes could be complete late next year
BASIL has posted the good news about the Aberdeen dryslope proposals on the forum: Aberdeen's long-awaited ski and sports centre will "benefit the whole of the North of Scotland" when it finally opens, it was claimed yesterday. Progress on plans for the new facility at Kaimhill was reported to councillors behind closed doors yesterday.
Hillingdon Dry Slope Closed?
We hear rumours that the Hillingdon dry slope is currently closed. Can anybody shed any light on this? We've tried a few contacts, but they know no more than us. Is is closed for repairs, closed for refurbishment, closed for good or taking the Beckton route and going indoors?
Hemel freestyle over Christmas
With both Christmas Day and New Years Day falling on a Friday, Hemel's park team "Diggers With Attitude" are a bit gutted that there's not going to be any freestyle between 19th December and 5th January at The Snow Centre. The Friday park will be back with a vengeance on 8th January, with the mini-shred sessions starting on the 6th January.
