Legion Snowboard

A Legion is a large military unit trained for combat; an army. (cheers Google) The slope we've called home for more than a decade now is in Bearsden, a posh suburb of Glasgow, famous for it's saucy house-wives and excentric old inbreds. 2000 years ago Bearsden was occupied by the 'XX Legion Valeria Victrix' which we think translates as the 20th Legion or something. We emailed Baldrick of Time Team to find out more about these Bad-Ass Roman Bruisers but we're still waiting for a reply. Anyway...the Roman's were pretty hard-core, they drank wine, slaughtered their opposition and fornicated with anything that moved. It's a well documented fact too that they were all punks as well (mowhawks on helmets) and that's pretty cool.
