yep. Cab = Fakie. Fakie is differnet from switch, but often gets used wrongly in snowboarding. but people know what your on about if you say cab.

After reading all this my head's hurting........can I be really thick and ask how Fakie's different from Switch?......genuine question, not questioning your statement! Smile Is it because if you're riding fakie you're going to pop a nollie whereas if you're riding switch you'd pop a switch ollie AND you could pop a switch nollie too........wouldn't that then be a switch fakie nollie?!?!!? Arrrrgh, I've confused myself even more with my ridiculous logic!!! Shocked Laughing

This is why I was always $hit at skating, I could never get the hang of knowing and remembering what the tricks were and how to do them......by the time I'd got it right in my head, I'd already stacked it and was kissing concrete!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

we were talking about skateboarding - yuor feet are in different places on the board. fakie is like rolling backways, whereas switch is skating the other way round to usual.

edit: gimme a sec and i'll make a diagram

it could be worse, i could have to try to explain why BS tails or lipslides are called that and why noseslides and boardslides are the other way.

Wookie, LMAO.........that's the best use of a .jpg I've seen in a long time!! Laughing

In my own confused way, I think I was kind of right in what I was saying but what was going on in my head didn't quite come out right when typing!!!

Glad that's sorted, I can go and cook my tea now! Very Happy
