| Spy pink are the best I've tried in flat light. Other people like polarised, and I think Oakley do a rose coloured on. |

mine are pink iridium lenses and they're great, esp as you get a bit of sun protection for them bits where all of a sudden the sun pops out from knowwhere for about 1o mins!
my goggles are the oakley a frames |

I've got Oakley A frames and Wisdoms.
The Wisdoms are really uncomfortable on me and also the fire iridium lens may look good but is pretty useless unless it is brilliant sunshine. Even then they are not that clear.
In my A frames I just got the plain old persimon lens and it is fantastic. It is good in flat light but is also OK if the sun gets bright.
Oakley do a high intensity blue lens that has a higher transmission but I don't think it would be suitable for bright conditions as well. |

I used blue iridium if there is some blue skies but as soon as the clouds come they are useless
I then switch to some yellow lenses.. they improve the situation but when you have complete cloud cover there isnt really a great deal you can do...
Maybe the polarised lens will help, they are probably the only lens I havent tried to helpw ith flat light but they are pretty expensive... |

The persimmon sound ok in most conditions, are these similar to the vermilion gun in my Bolle goggles? http://www.peepers.com/images/jinx_nigh ... iongun.jpg
I got these as they look and feel ok on my small face, and have an equalizer to prevent distortion at high altitudes ... or is that just a gimmick? |

The following on the oakley website explains the different lenses for each light condition
http://oakley.com/technology/lens_tints/
I've got wisdoms with Fire irrid for Bright, Pink Irrid for overcast and high power blue for bad conditions. They are brilliant and well worth the money. |

| The persimmon lense (standard across the Oakley range) will cover pretty much all bases, definately one of the most versatile lenses. I got some Wisdoms last year with the Fire Iridium lense (they looked the nuts!) but the light was quite flat and the lense didn't suit at all, but Fire Iridium are a great lense for bright sunshine. I've ordered a persimmon lense ready for next month. |
