Looking at the forecast for Alpe D'Huez for the bash, most of Europe (apart from us) will have clear blue skies for the next 7 days.
After 7 days there's an almighty low coming in from the atlantic.
So, the the last 10 days of snow, will settle and improve the base and just before we arrive there should be several persistant days of dumping....

just got back from france (Les Arcs and Tignes). The recent snow has created a good base although it is getting scraped and icy in places now. The parks have either opened or are just about to with the half pipes ready in a few days. We will need a good dump of snow before we get there - so the above forecast looks promising,

Again there's no snow in the long-range (0-6days), but there is a very large cloud mass which should pass over most of western europe just past the week.

Whether you think the snow-forecast forecast's are accurate (let me have my powder dreams), there appears to be snow forecast (8cms) to fall Monday night with every increasing cloud through the middle of the week.
Not long now...

I wouldn't go as far to say "a nice dump", but a sprinkling with more sprinking to come. It will get a little warmer which means the usual thaw/freeze cycle.

If you believe the forecasts or not, it is not reporting a heavier build up of cloud, to the point that the forecast now has:
1.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 6.0 5.0 12.0 2.0 1.0
cms for each 8 hour slot from Sunday night until Wednesday morning...
Okay, I'm getting a little excited with the forecasts, but that is only at resort level.

You're not supposed to republish the forecasts without snow-forecast's permission.
ie: The reason why I supplied just the forecasted dumps.
