I thought it was about time we started this off. If people can slot themselves in to the list in the most appropriate place (ordered by arrival time) it should be easy to sort out transfers for many people. I'll start with a list from another thread, but can everybody keep the same format so we know where we are. Feel free to start an official thread for the transfer back too! Feel free to keep very much on topic.

I joined a bit late to sign up for the trip Crying or Very sad

so 6 of us booked seperately and are staying at Residence Auberge. I wondered if we could join in? I bring 4 South Africans that we can all take the mickey out of, they are used to it. Twisted Evil

I am also looking for us to hook up with anyone in Grenoble from 21st Jan 1330 and will be returning 28th Jan @ 1300hrs'ish.. for transfers to and from Alpe D'Huez.

Tom, you werent around when we fixed this up the Luton lot and the max number of people is 8 which we have. Sorry mate, but dont worry I think you will get to the hotel easy enough. While I was bus hunting I found the vfd (public bus type thing) timetable on their website: http://www.vfd.fr/HorairesLignesRegulieres/3020.pdf

From what I can make out theres plenty of buses to match everyones flight times, the only problem being that you'd have to get a bus from the airport to the central busstation in town. I think these run every hour.

Hi to the 'Stanstead to Grenoble' pose. There are 6 of us (& possibly 7 for the outbound leg) who are getting transfers together. If the others are happy to wait, you could tag along with us (keep an eye on the 'Anyone flying to Grenoble?' thread).

Or alternatively, anyone interested in getting the bus?

That link I posted above is summer service, there are more buses in winter, goto http://www.vfd.fr/ho01.htm and select "HIVER - station de l'Alpe d'Huez" to bring up an xls with even more buses on it.

I'm more than happy to work until the Stanstead flight comes in, it will make a transfer cheaper and that's never a bad thing.
