You see...I was thinking about creeping up to it, having a peek over (sh*tbag I know) and taking it from there, but I'm thinking that'll probably take away from the fun of the whole thing!
Just grit the teeth and go for it is probably the best philosophy you say? |

| Did the tunnel, it looks worse than it is, i think, worst moguls i saw in adh, but i went down it switching, great run at bottom of the moguls, bumpy right to left, i had some powder to ride across and nearly made it up the other side, ran out of speed and had to walk a bit, some great long runs to gather speed from there.Damn i miss it already, on plus side i got back sataurday and booked my sweden trip for march lol |

hey, yeah I went to alpe d'huez last year, had such a good time. I remember the "scare chair" too, underneath it are one or two skis lost forever, littered around like bones. maybe thats where skiers go to die?
had some amazing off piste on the side with the huskies at the bottom, it was a complete white out one day, couldn't even see the poles marking the piste and we kinda just had to ride by just feeling where the board was going because all I could see was white!!! haha funny though.
I remember the bar with the slide too, i think it was called freeride? we got free shots in syringe (without the needle thank god!) and then pushed down the slide by some nurse in a miniskirt. they had some mattress at the bottom but no matter how you went down your body pushed it out of the way and you landed right on your cocyx (or whatever its called).
Was there a trick to doing the slide right? hmmm experiences would be appreciated! |

The trick is to rail slide it once the slide is wet ...one of our mates slid almost to the bottom then tumbled head first down the stairs...priceless! |
