| I've booked in for the 3 hour fast track lesson tonight 7-10 at Cas. Has anyone done it and if so, was it worth it?...I realise I should've asked this before I paid my 69 quid but I was so eager to get some boarding in as not been for ages & was too chicken to just go out there on the slope without a refresher as I'm too awful for words! |

| My son had about 6 lessons there, all with different instructors...and never a bad one, so I'm sure you'll be fine. |

| Absolutely loved it although when I got there & the instructor was showing people how to do up their bindings I was a bit annoyed as I'd explained I needed some refresher lessons!!!! Luckily we had a group of people also doing refreshers so half way in we were on the main slope & I've now got the basics cracked (ish anyways!). Instructor was great...kept it nice and simple and pretty much left us to get on with it giving us tips now and then...I could've stayed until closing - he gave us an extra 1/2 hour for free but had to get back over to Manchester and it was 11pm by the time I left anyway. Will be trying to get over every couple of weeks now before my hols to Chamonix in Jan - he said to start learning small jumps so i ordered the Methodology DVD in anticipation!!!! Not sure if that's a wee bit ahead of me yet though! |

Try to arrange your timings, my son had 5 lessons this summer at 5pm...and every lesson was one on one....I think if I'd actually ordered that it would have cost £200 per lesson *g*. |

There were about 6 of us which was a good number - didn't feel like I missed out. I imagine you'll get an even better ratio going on a friday daytime...no schoolies (I don't s'pose any scal wagging it could afford the lesson either so you're safe there!)
I found it easier to pick up as no jargon was used, he kept the technique simple whereas at SSV, don't know if it was snowflex or the lesson style but had to concentrate much harder & it didn't flow as easily. I was away on saturday night from one side of the slope to the other with only a couple of falls (when I went all speed demon and lost control!) |

I had my levels 1 & 2 with Sally - and a group of about 6 ish, on a Saturday
When I had my 3 & 4, on a Tuesday afternoon, it was 1 on 1 with Dave, and was a quality time. Have to say that instructs look after you, and encourage you to push yourself to try stuff.
Nice and quiet mid week - if you go out of school hols, you get 2 hours for £20 from 1:00. |

I'm hoping it's fairly quiet but then again would be good to have at least one other person to learn with. |
