Hi all,
does anyone know what hapend the the ceiling / roof of the main slope on saturday afternoon?
I was on the travellator (sp!) and there was a big bang from the roof just over the flat lip half way down - shortly followed by a load of water falling from the roof - shortly followed by a piece a 2 X 1 timber about 3m long falling from the roof
luckily missing anyriders on the slope
they put the pads out to stop peolple riding under the danger zone - but this didn't really help as all riders were pushed to the outside edges of the slope - not a clever move with lessons / learners getting off the drag rope
this was then followed by some of the slope peeps poking the roof with a long stick to remove further water that was built up on the celing lning
does anyone know what happend here
they decided to keep the slope open too - which I thought was a brave decission
It just got me thinking - a bit wierd / worrying that this could happen & after spending a load of money to ride (£64 for me and the Mrs) - the place seems to need more wedge spent on it (I know they've just spoent loads on the place)
cheers
Jon |

We'll all be fine on Saturday Gina. I'll probably be too broken after the first 5 minutes to worry about bits of roof faling on me |

There is only one SnowDome and it's in Tamworth, but it's become a generic term (like "Hoover"). Tamworth own the rights to the name though. |
