I'm Goofy - have been since i was a skateboarder back in the 80's, then since i've been surfing and now snowboarding!
My best mate who is regular said when trying snowboarding for the first time:
"I'm right handed, i play football with my right foot mainly, isn't it weird that i'm regular"

Pledging allegience to the JRF.
I might point out that right leg forward is the basic right handed stance for training with Katana, there wasn't any left-handed swordsmen as being left-handed was regarded as a mental illness in feudal Japan so people were forced to change.
And by extension, that would make left foot forward a mental illness too!  |

| I have to say, it's so refreshing to find all you goofy riders! I'm goofy and have been ever since my first lesson up a hill in the cairngorns. There was an instructor though at Braehead who was scared of this and tried to turn me regular. HA! I prevailed and the goofy lives on! |
