I have basic Sky with the HD F1 bolt on but can't seem to see any snowboarding at any time of year.

Any suggestions

Extreme (sky 419) has snowboarding on, generally not in summer though.

Freesports on 4 - available on More 4 I think is on intermittently throughout the year. You get some TTR shows and also World Freeride Tour on this.

Other than that you'll probably need a sports package. Extreme Sports generally has the most (Dew Tour, Stairmasters, Untracked, Ride Guide); TRACE Sports also has some limited coverage; you can get Warren Miller Films on Sky Sports in the winter (they also had the whole series on Sky Anytime this year) and Eurosport sometimes shows TTR events.

Failing all that, there's always Ski Sunday.....

Yeah, I remember when Extreme was pretty much wall-to-wall snowsports in winter. These days it's more like the Redneck Games Channel.

Considering the number of amazingly crap channels that are on Sky (who watches 'Renault TV'???), I can't believe that a proper snowsports channel couldn't be feasible as a business.

Rather than wait and watch crap on sky why not just watch the tons of stuff its easy to find on Vimeo etc.

GonzillaTV would be a great place to start for UK stuff.

Yobeat has some good stuff.

Torstein Horgmo has a good vimeo page.

Loads of good free movies every year too

Think the only Snowboarding I;ve seen on TV is Winter Xgames on ESPN and The Big Air and Style on Eurosport

I follow a few Pro Snowboarders on Twitter just for the fact they generally post Internet Links for the coverage of whatever Comps they are competing in

You mean you dont like pro bull riders??? and Mantracker? shame on you Sir, Shame on you.
I watch Renault TV, channel 883, i think.
I like to see the road tests of the sport models but it really is beyond me why they have there own channel.

eXtreme does have some rubbish on now, although i quite like Mantracker.
hopefully as we get closer to winter we will start getting more snowboarding action on TV.
