Saw this on eBay whilst looking for a bike helmet recently (god i hate it when people list things in the wrong catagory)
I think it looks pretty good and is SUPER lightweight, not to mention a bit cheaper than its listed here, so it might be worth getting.
However, i cannot find any info on it and i think it might be a ski helmet - which would explain why ive never seen it before!
So is there any reason not to buy a ski helmet, other than running the risk of being near a skier wearing one

Is it the item from Fusion Sports titled 'Oakley Modular System Snow /Cycle Helmet'..?
Hummm... Oakley ski helmets - i believe there's no such thing.
If you look closely at the studs and other connectors on the straps they have the letters 'TSG' on them - that relates to ...TSG Helmets!

It looks like these guys have just added some Oakley branding to a TSG helmet to flog it easier. I've a mate at Oakley Europe and I'll check with them for deffinate, but personally I'd avoid them. |

Its the TSG Crown helmet. Refers to skiing in there but has the exact same description. One to avoid i feel... |

I guess TSG as a brand must make some good helmets - they're based in Zurich and have a number of good riders on their roster - AND Harry wears a TSG helmet, so it must be good.
But for this company to claim theyre made by Oakley is a little 'off' |

| For sure Oakley are just a re- badged TSG but with one critical difference. The Oakley branded lids are dramatically more expensive! The same applies to Ride lids. These are TSG too. There are a few others out there as well but their names escape me for the moment. The flex fit system used on these lids is superb. They won a design innovation award at ISPO a couple of years ago. The helmets flex to conform to your head shape and pass all the CE safety tests. |
