So, I never really have enough time to watch live any of these big / cult tv series that people go on about. But I found a box set of series one of Mad Men the other day for £2 in a charity shop the other day and I quite like it. I've seen the odd 5 minutes of shows like The Wire or Walking Dead, and quite like them too.
What recommendations does anyone have for these sorta shows? |

Seen the Wire and have a couple of seasons on Doov. Well worth the watch.
Breaking Bad is quality.
Watching Boardwalk Empire at the moment and loving it.
24 was pretty entertaining. Ive seen the first 2 seasons which were good but heard it gets worse after that. |

| 24 must be up there with the best box sets of all time. Yosh, does dip a little on a couple of episodes but some of the latter seasons are better than the first. |

House/Breaking Bad/Walking Dead are the 3 biggies, BrB starts again soon.
Other than that a few I can recommend are Suits and Prison Break
Others I recommend less but have watched include Lost/Heroes/True Blood(if you have a vagina)/Jericho(was really bad). |

| Peep show is good too. Plenty of series but short episodes so you can quickly dip in |
