Probably doing the Snow-Camp Alpine Challenge just before, so driving out with Pocket, ROBster and Charlie.

So how would the cost of driving compare to flying?

So flying would be - £145 Flight, £50 transfers + cost of travel to airport & possibly airport parking.

Would it be cheaper to drive with say 3 or 4 in car?

You can come down through Luxembourg, which saves about £70 tolls (each way), but takes about 90 minutes longer apparently. Have a check on www.viamichelin.com for the cost of travelling.

It's telling me the 650 mile direct though-France route will cost £400 round trip from Watford before the cost of the crossing, so a little cheaper than easyJet if you have 4 people. 11.5 hours each way (excluding the crossing).

I've just booked two day-returns with Euro Tunnel for £102. So four people getting there is about £125 each including tolls and fuel.

If you wanted to know:
Thurs 17th 0950 out (we're going out early)
Sunday 27th 2020 back

9 hours Calais to Morzine all being well.

I was hoping more for a Jenna, Janet, Jennifer or Janine. Pah, girls names beginning with J aren't easy.
