Hi
Me and my mates have decided its time to look into booking a boarding holiday for next year and have decided on Mayerhofen, we did a week in Morzine this year in March and it was brilliant so looking to get something in the diary ASAP for next year.
Just looking to get some feedback on the place itself and if anyone could recommend any good hotels/chalets, what time is best to go etc

Been a few times now and love the place, decent slopes, awesome park and apres is amazing! Depends what you're looking for regarding when to go i suppose, if you're after decent riding then Jan-Mar but the Snowbombing festival is also held there in Apr.
Regarding places to stay there are looooooooooooooads of hotels and b&b's, Hotel Strass is literally 5 yds from the Penken lift (the main lift). |

Thanks for the reply and its good to know that its a great place and sounds perfect for what we are looking for etc. We are looking to go either Feb or Mar so that again is good to know that it will be busy.
Yeah been looking through a list of them and your right there are so many but will check that one out as well and see if its available as we want one as central as possible.

Hey,
Me and my mate are going to Mayrhofen for season 12/13 and we are looking for flatmates. We have found a nice appartment 21 kms from Mayrhofen ( the bus station to Mayrhofen is just in front of the appartment). It costs 6500 for the whole season and it has three bedrooms. So if there would be 4 of us, it would cost 1625 euros per person for eight months(okt- may). Let me know if someone is interested! |
