I was under the impression it was called football in the UK, but here you go. Something else to do at Chill Factore if you can't be bothered to go snowboarding or skiing.

Quote:
KEEP THE KIDS ACTIVE WITH SNOW SOCCER FROM CHILL FACTORE

The England team’s Euro dreams may be over but your kids can still live out their football fantasies with a fantastically different five-a-side… on snow!

The UK’s longest real snow slope, Chill Factore is offering children’s sessions of Snow Soccer. It can be difficult to find entertaining activities during the summer holidays – especially with the current weather – but Chill Factore is here to help.

As a standalone kids activity or as part of a party, Snow Soccer is sure to entice football fanatics to try a unique take on their favourite sport. Held in the children’s Snowplay area, the mini pitch is perfect for groups of six per team to challenge their friends whilst a dedicated member of our team is on hand to oversee the fun.

Plus, the future Rooney’s can re-energise after the match from the variety of restaurants on offer.

Rebecca Fell, head of marketing at Chill Factore said: “As always at Chill Factore, we want to offer a range of activities to our visitors so there’s always something new to try.

“Snow Soccer is a brilliant way to enjoy a twist on the beautiful game and encourage children to get active and have fun in the snow.”

What is amazing about this is that there is a five-a-side football place (Powerleague Soccer Dome) about 50 metres from CFe.

There is a driving range next door too, maybe they could try that as well. If you reading though CFe, its worth pointing out that buying normal balls would be a bad idea. Go for the luminous yellow or orange ones please.

Is there any room left on the slope to use for snowboarding anymore , what with all these world firsts they keep coming up with. Surely to god they would've been better building a bloody sports centre instead of a snow slope.
It sounds like it would be something akin to total wipeout with all the people/classes to weave your way through.

I've just come up with a fantastic idea. A worlds first no doubt it'll make me millions.....
You just need some dingys life jackets and paddles and a team/group of like minded thrill seekers , take said items to the top of the slope wack the heating up on the slope and when the snow and ice melts hey presto white water rafting, would work with canoes too.
Am I brilliant or what. Come on cfe you know you want to try it.

Royalties made payable to............

There is an indoor football complex across from CFE, why would anyone go to the trouble of playing on snow when they can just play a straight forward game of football indoors.

I think I have a worlds first for them - dump a huge haystack in the middle of the slope and charge people to pick as much of it up as they can.

There's a special 'no prize' for the person who picks up the most.

To help out the marketing department, I'd like to propose they call it... 'CFe - Clutching at Straws'

Ha they are trying anything aren't they! I would love to know if these ideas are actually making them profits greater than if they just focused on promoting standard snow sports related events.
