Currently ride a 152 jib board at home and away, looking into buying a more all mountain orientated board for my couple of weeks away..as the 152 noodle is holding me back a little on piste.

The board I'm after comes in 154 and 157 flavours...bearing in mind i am about 9st 10 pounds and about 5'9...do you think the 157 would seem a bit massive after riding a 152 for the last 3 years?

on a typical day it would be used 70% piste and 30% park...my riding style is generally mucking about jibbing and ollieing stuff rather than caning it everywhere hardbooter style...but would be nice to press on when I feel like it. So, what do you think...154 or 157?

would be going from k2 www to k2 happy hour (next years) so a fair bit stiffer board disregarding length.

Yes def the 154. I'm 11 stone 7 and ride a 157, It's about right for my weight but I could go shorter without any difficulty. I went down from a 160 a couple of years ago and wish I'd done it sooner.

If I ride the correct size for my weight is be on a huge 170 something, out just told I'm too fat for snow boarding. Luckily, like Les I am amazing, and ride anything from 153 up.

Yeah... I'm not a fan of manufacturers recommendations......

That's why I got a 151 for the dome.

I would try and demo if you can, but would probably be leaning towards the 154 as well.

Same here really. Started with recommended size and got progressively shorter. I'm 5'8, 12 st and I'm riding a 151 now. Even on powder I'm only using a 153! Tech has moved on a long way. I think you need to demo as its pesonal and a lot can depend on the type of board you are riding.
