I'll be there too! Blue AG Hoodie probably with a SCUK sticker and one of WFM's Yellow stickers on the lid! Going to be epic if the snow keeps dropping |

| Yeah it was a great day... Up until I nearly got kicked off the slope for going down the Coronation wall and landing in the stream at the bottom haha |

Yeah was fantastic day. my best day up there this season. my mate and I hit coronation wall (the lower bit above the traverse) earlier in the morning. Was fantastic, best bit was cutting across the traverse and jumping the fence and dropping in to the powder below. simply awesome!
You were lucky dude, quite a few had their passes removed for hitting coronation wall and the head wall. They hadn't closed the bit above the traverse earlier in the day and loads were hitting it. then they closed it. think two boarders started two avalanches on the head wall. big whooha about them removing peoples passes, some for and.some against as the aggressors were apparently well equipped and very experienced for assessing avalanche risk etc. |

It's brilliant having snow at this time of year! I took my pow board out to get used to riding it and all went well even on the packed snow - don't like the look of the base though after a bit of combat snowboarding to get to the bottom hahaha! roll on May for having more snow predicted - good times |

I saw the facebook row about that.
The area was closed because of the very high avalanche risk. The argument that the people up there had "just done a season out in Canada" or "two seasons out in France" is almost as ridiculous as Joey Barton's tweets last night.
People infinitely more experienced than chalet boys die every year in avalanches even with all the up to date equipment and back up.
It's their area and their terrain, they know it better than anyone else and they have to deal with the consequences when it goes wrong.
They were proved to be correct, and there were avalanches in the area they had closed off after people ignored their advice and set them off. If people want to risk the consequences with either death of having their passes taken off them, or anything in between, then cool, but very least they can do is too not moan about it. |

Whole heartedly agree mate. Was simply reiterating what was being discussed. I personally would be classed as a chalet boy, and unwilling to pit myself against an avalanche when i have an option lol. |
