Also theres this one. Now looking at the photos the topsheet seems to say sims near the nose of the board, the photo of the base shows swis, but the guy selling it is calling it a siws snowboard. Is it a case of he's looking a sims upsidedown and then writing it backwards......I dunno?

The one above was a classic but the Noah Salasnek Sims board with the skateboard trucks base is the one to get.
http://snowboarding8090.com/rubrika/boards-1990-1995/sims/
A mate of mine has the Palmer Sims board with the skateboard trucks bottom, reckon he'd be interested to see someone reckons they could get £499 for that Salasnek one above.
Check out this guy's site for more vintage boards - wonder which of the current graphics will make the classic cut in 10 - 20 years time.

| there isn't a palmer with skate trucks on it, (Kemper made an andy hetzel with skate trucks too), Thats a Noah salasnek, I have one (rode it last week in fact!) I have a palmer police car/cadillac too. The reason that woman is selling the Noah is cos she saw the one we have advertised on our site for a ridiculous amount of money just so as no one buys it! She got in touch with us and asked if we wanted the noahs ark too. The ark is a nice looking board but its not seminal like the skate truck one. If she lets the ark go for sensible money then id love it for the wall. |

@227angrydonkeys Yep, it's the Cadillac one he's got, I mistyped and lost the words 'same era as the' skateboard trucks board or something along those lines.
That's a nice pair of boards to have in your collection. How did the Salasnek ride nowadays, compared to a modern board?
The A-boards are classics too. |

It seems I now own the noahs ark too.... oops.
The salasnek is great in soft snow, its quite slow on piste and awful in choppy crud. Put it in powder and its awesome with the squared off nose it has loads of float, the bindings are less than great though.
The axel pauporte is a nice looking board, not worth a great deal but if its in good nick then definitely a keeper, In a few years time stuff liek that will be like old deathbox skateboards and fairly collectable. |

| thats about what its worth. Im a bit of a collector and that's what I'd pay. If it was the 156 Id pay a bit more. If it was more collectable someone would have bid more or bought it. |
