Currently sitting in T5 waiting for our flight to Calgary.
Just noticed (had it for 3 seasons!!) that my jacket has little loops inside the sleeves. Are these for me to loop my mitts through to save me losing them when I take them off?!
I know it's a stupid question - but I was just curious. I normally loop the mitts round my wrist... but I guess having them attached to the jacket would probably be easier! |

If they are loops at the end of the cuffs and are a elasticy material they will most likely be for looping over your thumb to stop the jacket sleeves riding up when you bail etc. I have this feature on my Ripcurl jacket and it took me a year to notice it haha. |

They are the loops at the end and they're elasticy - but my jacket has the sleeve gator things where I put my hand / thumb through a neoprene thing.
I could barely fit my pinkie in it... let alone my thumb! |

Yep. I always do this.
You do look like the kid from the special school, but it's really useful if you take your gloves off all the time to take photos. And it means you can fiddle with stuff on the chairlift without worrying about dropping your gloves. |

| I assumed that was the case on my new westbeach, but there is only one loop on the left hand side! Would make sense if it was both hands but perhaps those crazy canadians assume you only ever take one glove off to do things and most people are left handed... |
