| Ahh hah! I knew this was happening, but didn't know when. It looks pretty awesome.....great idea, anyway. Slightly annoyed that Rice took 1st place, if that is the case though. Need to watch it!!! |

WTF....extended highlights will be shown the end of march?! reading between the lines there not going to go to the expense of a real tv box show if there then going to show stuff now on the web...
sounds like were going to have to wait until march.....at least by then i'll have forgotten who won...or what the comp was....or who travis rice is.... |

Will be televised in the US on the 31st of March.
As for the previous Shaun White comment, he made the comment in Ultimate Ride that he went to Alaska with Hannah Teter, Terje (and others ive forgotten) and 'pretty much knew i never wanted to go back'.
He remarked 'it was blown out of all proportion, if you go here you'll die, oh you'll die over there, for sure you'll die in this zone.'
I suppose a kid used to being treated like royalty, even back then and being able to ride whatever he wanted on the mountain would be shocked to discover just how careful you had to be to survive a day in AK. I love riding powder, but i dont think id feel totally comfortable riding out there :/ |

| Now ive watched all of it, anyone else think it was a little bit sh1t? I mean, the concept is good, and i really like the pre-built features - hopefully we'll see a lot of this sort of thing in resorts, but watching his 91/100 scored run, i felt it was boring and untidy - i know its in powder, but you've got slopestyle features in there, so do your best tricks on every feature - dont do 'safety' tricks and widely-flapping straight airs! |

I'm sure everyone's been watching this as its come out. I'm slowly making my way through the whole programme whilst at work (Shhh...)
Interesting so far, watching superstar Mark McMorris not being able to ride at all! I know its not surprising cos he's a park rat, but it really does show up the stark differences between the different styles of riding! |
