Hi, i just started snowboarding and am intending to make use of my easter break to snowboard. thinking about end march or first week of april so that daylight savings are on and we have maximum daylight. im worried that there would not be enough snow or the snow would be all slushy, so i'll need some advice!

also has anybody been to La Joue du Loup during that period? i found an insanely cheap deal but not sure if there would be snow there then.

thanks

I find the best tactic is to pick a week and then try and get a last minute deal somewhere that's still got reasonable snow.

im in same boat, i have had to book last 2 week off in march so gonna try and get a sneaky week in. as chaski says though im waiting till nearer the date until i book anything then pick the resort with the best conditions at that time. although there are some quality deals knocking about at the moment thats very tempting

We're off to Mayrhofen for snowbombing at beginning of april. they've got the hintertux glacier (free bus transfer from the town of mayrhofen) which is one of the few that offers 365 days riding. if you wait for the last minute deals it's defo worth a shout. we've been shocked at the amazing deals to the hof we've been seeing for the winter! we were there last week March/first week April last year and it was amazing.

The Brits is an awesome week away in Laax and this will be my 8th year I think. We'll be running something under the SCUK banner, but not 100% sure what format yet.
