I remember those days - the amount of freebies you were given! It was unfair and i caned myself and broke my board that day as well. I so should have got a prize for that!
I'm fairly sure I once won a driving experience at Silverstone, but I was living with my folks and my dad has the same surname (obviously) and initial so he claimed it
I won a few comps on SCUK way back when - got a book and a cool D30 hat - a beanie with strange powers that provides crash hat like protection when hit! |

Why is it when you get the question " Why do you think you should win XYZ ?? " that you cant think of a decent reason without either sounding desperate or a piece from a brochure sales pitch. |

| Go for the GNAR approach and respond with "Because I'm the best damn boarder on the mountain" or "Cos i'm so much better than you!" |

| I don't think I've won anything recently, well excluding "winning" the auctions on ebay. |

Its still going. Although my recent foray to Serbia I was riding a new board and (Shock, horror!) ditched the frankenbinders! A second hand pair of Head bindings from ebay for less than £20 |

Hmm, it might just be me, but I don't think this is the "things I nearly won" thread |
