Brides Les Bains (near Meribel)
Chamonix (central)
Morzine (central)
All about the same price. I am beginner- intermediate level, not looking for a park, just good conditions and a pretty resort, apres ski would be a bonus but generally out of my price range regardless!
I want GOOD SNOW!! Going 3rd march.
Which should I pick? Chamonix has the nicest accommodation.

Brides is a long way out of the life of meribel. The bubble up the valley will take you at least 20min to reach the lowest of the meribel lift system proper and same goes for night life....Not much sun down there.
I would probably go for Morzine but the only time I've stayed in the Cham valley, was in Argentiere. Easiest / most forgiving runs are in La Tour which is at the end of the valley. Most of the the other cham resorts are a bit hardcore (IMHO)
Snow is in the hands of the gods, but its been a great season so far.
