Right, I'm feeling the urge to go out and start buying my own kit so boots are first on my list. I know that the most important thing is to try them on and see how they actually feel on my feet. Burton have felt best so far, but....
I really like the style of the Nike Vapens so i'm going to be sampling them this weekend. But first just thought I'd check on here to see what people thought of them. I don't want to get boots that look good and feel good in a shop but then lose it all once they've been worn in a bit.
Anyhow cheers for the help |

| I've tried them on and they seem to be a very well made boot with some nice features, but they are a very very soft boot, so depends if you like soft boots or not. |

tried them on, they were very soft and flexy but eventually lost feeling in my toes so had to admit defeat due to wide feet - they're not the widest of boot! Eventually went for Burton Rampants as they fit the best and were comfiest.
Also seen Vapens for sale at half price (already!) in the Nike store in Glasgow, as mentioned by someone else on here. |

Cheers for the replies guys
WFM - what if it fits and looks good in the shop but then doesn't perform quite so well on the slope? Will TSA let me demo boots at tamworth?
Cheers Cj will have to try to see how soft they feel. By any chance are you a fan of Rome boards? |

| Cheers Claneo - width could be an issue for me. I'm near Manchester so Glasgow's gonna be a bit of a trek for me. Cheers for the heads up though |

Maybe I'm psychic, or more likely posted just after you'd changed your pic.
I think you two should start the Rome fan club
Think i'm just jealous that you have so many boards and I have none! |

| After having lots of pain with my Vans I bought some Vapens. They're awesome. Fit snug and are really comfortable. My feet are quite wide too. Ratings for Nike boots. |

Im rocking the Zoom Force 1's at the minute and theyre getting a bit tired. Plan is to grab a pair of the Vapens in the sales if I can find some at the end of the season! I know people have had differing opinions on Nike (I'll leave that to the different threads) but I like my boots to feel like my sneakers and the Zoom Force do just that!!!
Im hoping the Vapens wont let me down when I come to trade!!!
Oh, and for the Rome record - Im on my second Rome Artifact and will probably at least look towards a third !!!! They rock!!! |

It is yeah, I sold it to a young lad on the cheap to get him going, bought the jerk moves one and am selling that now because I dont actually snowboard very often.
The kid loved it |
