The new line up of boards look pretty good this season, with some new tech. The ratchet, if the same as the last 2 seasons are made from alloy, the idea for them is not to repace the rear entry, but to make it a bit easy strapping / unstrapping in powder etc.
I'm going to be at ISPO early next week so I'll find out for sure. |

| Interesting, looks comfortable with a solid hold. Does anyone know if Flow have any relationship with Ride? Some of the tech on the bindings seems very similar, i.e. the webbing on the straps, the EVA canted footbed and the rubber damping on the baseplate. |

Err. Yuk. Still looks like a high tech ankle cast.
What am I going to do with those extra milliseconds I save?
I'll get my coat... |

| For my tastes K2 already won the quick strap-in market with the auto's. Perfect evolution of the standard strap in binding for me, as it does pretty much exactly the same thing. with pretty much no additional hassle in any situation and it still leaves you able to strap in with one clip. |

| Have mix of rear-entry bindings and to be honest between K2, Flow and APO not a hell of a lot of difference. One upside to the Flow though is that the strap distributes pressure across more than just toe and ankle reducing stress points. |

Have you tried SP? Being a strap binding fan i found they have been the most comfortable - hands down! |

SP are comfy, yes but the build quality (of mine at least) was terrible. The plastic they use for the toe straps is cheap and breaks pretty easily. After 2 seasons with them I would not recommend.
YMMV. |
