I want a 2012 Bataleon Jam 156 but they seem to be sold out in the UK. I found one on Amazon.com for $399, but they won't deliver to the UK.

I've got friends in the US that I can have the board delivered to, for them to forward on to me, but the costs seem crazy from my initial searches. The UPS quote is $234, and the longest package USPS accept is 60", so about 152cm.

Has anybody had a board shipped from the US recently? How much did you pay? Who did you use etc? I found a few threads using the search but they're from 2008 so I was hoping somebody had recent experience.

Cheers.

Not so much on the shipping, but a little other info for importing is in this thread.

Many retailers in the US won't be allowed to ship outside of agreed regions as it's part of their deal with the manufacuter to be able to sell their stuff.

Might be worth getting a friend in the US to go to a post office and ask, or call up directly as both times I had stuff sent it wasn't the price I was expecting to pay based on their websites info. Once cheaper, once slightly dearer.
