| Such a shame, read a bit about her and she seems to have done alot for her sport, too young! |

| Have you seen the idiot on the BBC web site who is saying that unless the superpipe can be made safer it should be banned and that no sport is worth dying for? Clearly someone who has never found a pastime that he had a genuine passion for! |

I saw that guy, "No sport is worth dying for" so someone replied with a quote from Sarah Burke herself
"That’s where we’re the happiest. It’s what our lives are for, being on the hill, and there’s a reason for that. It’s amazing. It’s where we met, it’s where we play, we live ... and where we’ll die.” - Tragically accurate, but suggests she died doing something she loved, although I imagine that's of little comfort to her friends and family right now. |

ive just been through the bbc website and im personally appauled by it. But thats not what this is about.
Sarah Burke was a talented athlete who i would have loved to have seen do her thing live.
Its very sad she has died but i hope that people realised that she died doing something she loved. Sometimes thats the risk we take with dangerous sports.
May she Rest in Peace or Shred in peace.
One thing I will comment on is that she donated all her organs. I this morning made sure I am on the organ donors register. The link is below. Do with it as you wish

She supposedly severed a vertebral aretery which lead to bleeding on the brain so its a moot point anyway.
Good effort for posting the donor link Higgeh. |

RIP and although it seems trivial a sad loss to the sport also, I'd imagine Winter X Games will be very emotional next week |
