Sorry to link to another forum but I feel we should all share this tragic loss.
http://www.goneboarding.co.uk/forum/sad-loss-of-a-boarder/threadid/38535/page/1/showthread.aspx
"It is with great sadness I must announce the loss of Chris - a great mate who died doing what he loved at Heavenly on tuesday 17th january
From what I understand, Chris hit a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene
My thoughts are with his wife at this very sad time.
Chris was my boarding inspiration and played a big part in me taking up the hobby 4 or so years back.
If you are heading away soon, take extra care guys and girls and ride safe.
Next time you can, please take a moment when you are on the slopes to remember Chris, and dedicate a run, a 360, a tail grab or whatever to his name.
gonna miss you mate - hope every day is a powder day for you.
Rich" |
