Its not totally waterproof but it will be fine dropped in snow etc. The good thing about these cases is it will take a good shock too, so if you drop it from a height or it gets banged into your phone should be OK.
Not bad for £20

I have an Otterbox Defender from Amazon it's similar to the Grifffin mentioned above - not specifically waterproof but it fully covers my 4s with a working touch screen. It has done the job so far!
Though i do use zip lock bags for everything else!
