Well, it's the last run of the day Friday which is traditionally unlucky right?
A shandy and riding is quite good I think. 5 beers and tequila slammers, not so good. Last night anyway, so always big beers after the Bash Dash. |

I think a CC card fee is acceptable as long as the fee isn't replicated for other means of payment (e.g. debit card).
As said before, CC payments incur a % charge for the retailer. Rather than absorb that into the price, i'd much rather they added it on as an extra, and let debit card users avoid the charge.
However, not making another means of payment available, or charging equal amounts for cheaper methods, is bad practice in my view. If a price is advertised, I want to be able to pay that price. If there are compulsory extras, then the advertised price is basically a lie. It makes comparing prices a lot harder when I have to go through the whole booking process for each one, and it was my understanding that this practice is now illegal.
P.s - Just want to say that i'm taking not a cheap shot at the WB, as I imagine that a lot of people put a lot of hard work into making it happen. |
