I find a lot of it to be a bit disparate and constructed from the drum n bass cutting room floor. I found this band quite interesting though as its not an easy genre to cover....

Could you post some of this up so I can have a listen. I didnt mean it sounded like drum and bass as it generally doesn't. ( I quite like a bit of D n B (especially when its Brant Bjork on the drums and scott reeder/nick Oliveri on the bass!!!)) I meant more in terms of the similar postmodern approach to construction of the songs and that lots of it sounds like leftovers from other genres that have all found a "home" in one area and It often lacks cohesion and groove to my ears. But I'm pretty open to new things so post some up and I'll have a listen, convince me otherwise.

I severely hope you're joking. Korn are idiots, everyone's on the bandwagon, ruining what was an amazing genre of the UKs music scene. Midrange morons, as stated, Skrillex etc, avoid like the plague. This kiddy, mainstream or 'Brostep' (puke) is bollocks.

Burial, for the record, isn't really a dubstep artist. His music is beautiful, one of my favourite artists but BPM wise, it's mostly garage.

Ok Lez, I could confuse you with a whole list of names but my biggest piece of advice, if you want REAL dubstep get onto this site and download the podcasts, please forgive the MCs, is a regulation of itunes to spout sh1t over the music.

Enjoy a proper intro to the genre.
