Just to clarify a few things;
> Seasonaires Limited is a UK limited Company and any contracts are subject to UK Law.
> Seasonaires Limited are still trading as Seasonaires Limited as per companies hosue webcheck today.
> Seasonaires Limited are not trading as any other company as may have been mentioned in previous posts.
> There is no legal company association between Seasonaires Limited and any companies mentioned in any previous posts. |

| The company which still trades at Companies House may not be the same company the original poster contracted with. Some companise with dubious morals regularly change name to try and keep one step ahead and the key is to check the company number on the original paperwork and see if that company is still trading. |

Was it not Seassionaires that spat the dummy a few seasons ago over a very, very similar thread? |

Yes it was, I was just about to say no doubt Seasonaires will be along shortly to threaten legal action in an attempt to keep people quiet.
To the OP, I stayed with Seasonaires a few years ago also in Les Arc and had the exact same problem. It took 11 months for me to get £150 deposit back and that was only after I wrote a final letter stating that I was about to start legal proceedings. My deposit was returned within a week after that. I was massively short changed on my deposit too but that's another issue.
I think for some reason that this seems to be a problem with seasonaires in Europe since I know various people who have stayed with them in Whistler and had no problem's. Maybe its because Mr Parr Lives in Canada or at least he did.
Don't give up, I'd recommend writing (calls will get you no where) and document everything. The forum on consumer action group has a massive amount of legal info if you choose to take this route.
Best of Luck |

I know the thread you are talking about and I can't remember the name of the company, but it wasn't Seasonaires, it was something that began with A. I'm sure someone will know who I'm on about.
Just going to say one thing, I did my first season in Whistler with Seasonaires and I did not have a single problem with anything. When I read things like this I wonder what goes on as I know everyone in my house got all the money back.
I know one thing that Mr Parr doesn't live in Canada, I do know that. |

Arr the infamous A company, I think I know who you mean.
There is a particular seasonaires thread from a few years back though where David replied and I personally think really did not take the right approach with suggestions of legal action to those that had posted
I have no idea where Mr Parr lives but during my time with seasonaires he was in Canada. Quite a few years ago
I can only comment on my experience with the company, and in my experience it took 11 months to get my deposit back and I could never get hold of anyone both during and after my stay. I'd never stay with seasonaires again for this reason. Don't get me wrong though my time in Les Arc was amazing, the house, the people all ace. There does always seem to be some implication however that all seasonaires trash their house and never get deposits back.
I've never trashed a house but have had money took from my deposit for mini ramp repair even though I don't skateboard. Some tennants are bad but some landlords are also bad.
I have friends that have not had a problem with seasonaires, had a great time and who all got their deposits back. Guess it's all relative to each persons experience. In any case the OP should persist in getting his agreed deposit back |
