This question has probably been asked so many times but I'll ask anyway , is it worth me sorting my lift pass here in the uk or just buyin it when I reach chamonix ??
Any input is appriciated as always

If the forecast is for a stormy week in Cham we often buy day passes. Cham can close quite easily the morning after a storm while they blast the fresh snow. The week Le Pass saves you something like 20euro and although they will refund a portion they wont refund a full day as Planards will open and they will prob get somewhere open for the last few hours in the afternoon. If it's bluebird days forecast go for the week or if your going in Feb I'd get the week but if your going this month there will be no queues at the cash desk.
Just something to bear in mind, we often visit mates so don't ride everyday too so my circumstances are prob totally different to yours.
As I said a little tip for you if the whole valley is closed head to Planards if for some jib practice and then your already in town for the happy hours (oh, and if you do get a day pass at Planards it's only about 20euros (13euro for 1/2 day) compared to 42euro for everywhere else)!
Have a good trip! |

I'm heading out there on the 19 of jan for 5 days so I'll consider buying it day to day if the weather is bad, it's all a bit alien to me as its my first time out there but I'm sure I'll get on ok, looks like the happy hours and bar are a good idea when the wether closes in |
