Not to open a can of worms or anything, when I worked for an electronics retailer we sold as many acer as any other laptops combined and for every 10 we saw in repairs there was *maybe* 1 hp/toshiba brought back.
When the CEO says it's time to stop making poorly made affordable stuff, it kinda makes you want to give the company a while to sort out it's sh1t before you invest in something from them.
Not saying all of their laptops will fall apart but it is a gamble.
