Any sugggestions where i can pick up boarding mags in Edinburgh nowadays??? Tesco,Asda and WHsmith dont sell them anymore and the only other place i knew to get them was Borders but they closed down here,so im now left with no ideas??? Sad

I dont want to subscribe online because i only buy the odd edition, and i like to go into a store and have the choice of two or three, have a wee flick and see which is best to buy that month.

Well in this country, apart from the odd store here and there you'll have a choice of a maximum of two anyway - Whitelines and Onboard. WHSmith down here in England (Well the one in Norwich anyway) are still selling both of them. HAven't seen them in any of the supermarkets though.

The only place I can remember seeing more than Whitelines of Onboard on sale is in local snowboard shops, and Borders, which is kaput Sad

You can get a discount on subscriptions to both as a SCUK Member if you did decide that was the way to go.

The Apple News stand has them, if you have an apple device. At the moment you're limited to a PDF print, but hopefully in the future they'll become interactive.

Was just looking into the OnBoard Magazine and they have an App now.

http://onboard.mpora.com/iphone

Not sure whether that would be a good alternative if you cant find the actual magazine itself?

You should be able to get several titles from WH Smiths at The Gyle, if your that side of town. I have bought whitelines and onboard from there in the past.

I'm sure boardwise is worth a look too, I've not been in for a while but if your in town..

My local WH Smith in London has the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Magazine in stock. Picked up a copy but it's not so much a magazine as just a series of large adverts stuck together in one publication!

Great offer from Dashie there...

Have you tried asking your local newsagent though, they'll be able get it in for you next day either as a one off or every month. They all come from the same warehouse (usually Smiths) after all.

Worth an ask.

Subscribe to the Reason. By far the best mag and total bargain at £10 for 4 copies.
