So after an awesome day on the slopes at Les Houches I come back to the car, unlock the boot and then proceed to put all my stuff in the back including my keys....
So I am stuck in Chamonix with the spare keys in Leeds England, can anyone help it will be worth numberous beers and probably a big sloppy kiss from me.
You can contact me or my Dad via email on jamie@fitm.co.uk or stephen@fitm.co.uk. My parents Leeds number is 0113 2941770 as my mobile is in the boot of the car along with my goggles, jacket, helmet etc...!!
If anybody is coming this way and I can get the key to you I will be eternally grateful. |

| You posted this on all the cham forums/facebook pages. Will be plenty of guys in resort with the ability to break into a car. |

do the corner of the back window and just autoglass it when you get back in uk?
"A scaffold lorry reversed into the back corner of the car"
I know its 50 quid excess, but sorts it straight away! |

A one year old car, should lock the keys in the boot. So when you back in the uk check the micro switches in the boot and doors are all working and triggering the puddle / red warning lights.
As for getting in the car, coat hanger down the weather strip and press the unlock button on the door.
[I don't know if it works, i've heard mix reviews but get someone to unlock you car with the spare keys down the phone with a mobile close to the car, i'm sure its a urban miff] |

| Right because of my poor last post i've spoke to one of the patrols i know, there is no way to affect entry to the vehicle other than brick and window, or spare key. |

If u have opened the boot with the fob then the dead locks should be off, if this is the Case the only way you can get in is to wedge the door away from the car and use a coat hanger to manually pull the lever from inside.
If you locked the car withnthe fob before shutting the keys the boot then ur stuffed.
Either way if the caris a year old then you will have Audi assist which is RAC and they can get u in |

| The RAC used an airbag to get into my Merc when my mate locked the keys in it for me. They wedged it into the door seal and inflated it. Opened it enough for him to reach the lever. Never damaged the door either. Class! |
