Hey
I'm looking at investing on some Vans Wiig boots, my first venture away from northwave (who have done me proud) as I fancy a change!
Anyone got these? Or know anything about vans boots in general? Good quality long term? Going to be using them for a week in march, then the whole of next season so want them to be well made!
Thanks in advance

| All depends if they fit you properly or not. I've got a pair of Jamie Lynns that have lasted 2 weeks away and about 20 days of one off use. Have padded out but not seperated or anything. |

| I can't comment on longevity as I've only just got them but they seem great! Very personal, but they were by far the most comfortable out of various Nikes, Burtons and Thirty Twos. The flex changing bit means they should hopefully be quit adaptable as well. I have quite wide feet and they are nice and secure but not tight at all. |

I cant comment on the Wiig's but i did try on the BFB a few seasons back and they were soooo damn comfy, but they didnt have quite the right size for me (i was needing a 10.5) and they were just too heavy ,so went for my northwave Freedoms and i LOVE em!! best boot i have owned by a long shot!! (3years on and they are still holding up very well) . |

I've had two pair over the past two seasons and love them. They are stiff and fit really well for my foot, but the only thing I dont like about them is I can't get the very top of the boot as tight as the rest of the boot e.g. there is movment betweent he liner and the outer part about an inch at the top.
One other thing about the boots they last, normally I would go through boots quick e.g. last pair of 32's I snapped the spine in 40 days where this set of Wiig's must have 150 days use so far. |
