if someone is open about promoting a brand as well as giving opportunities for peeps to try their products then thats groovy. if they are also supporting the snowboarding scene/ new riders then that can only be commended.
As long as the rules of the forum are being followed etc then shout it from the roof tops if you have a good product/service, oh and dont go around bad mouthing other brands.
its a shed load more annoying when you get people pretending to have bought a product and give a "review" |

Cheers guys,
That's cool. I would never bad mouth another brand/ product. To be honest in over 11yrs of riding I have never had a wack product. Some were better than other at certain types of riding and some were more durable, but I always had a blast whatever!!
Yep, yeahboards is small, but we are definately into supporting the scene as much as we can. We have done a couple of South coast demos just before Christmas at Warmwell and Calshot dryslopes, which went down well, there is a video rider review on facebook where you can see what people thought of the boards. Planning more next year with the 2012 boards and try and get around a bit more.
Contract don't really have the budget to pay big name pros, but they support young riders through their SYS program (Support Young Shredders) couple of Brits riding for them Luke Pompa and Jason Molyneux.
Also I'm trying to be totally transparent about who I am and what I do. Like I say on the website there are loads of great brands and products out there. I just like to sell stuff I have personal experience of and love myself and if it's a bit different that great too.
Want to know anything more, let me know. |

I tried a goliath and didnt enjoy it, sure it was easy to turn but I was not comfortable being unable to find an edge and that was just in the dome. Admittedly an hour or so is not long enough to explore a board but it was all I had.
I also tried a head force i kers and thoroughly enjoyed it, I instantly liked its flex and handling and was sceptical about kers but it seemed to work, but once again a dome is not going to test an all mountain board's limits or capabilities.
Even after demoing a few boards I bought something I had not even tried and I am glad I did, I would recommend Arbor's Blacklist. |

And as for the Goliath being slow???
Nope nope nope!! im yet to find another boarder who can beat me to the bottom!! , seriously though, my mates ride romes and other top brands like that and not once have i found them to be any faster than me.
Maybe the ppl who found the Goliath to be slow should learn to manup and ride properly |

You should listen to this guy. Anyone that says 'your a mug' using incorrect grammar clearly knows what they're talking about
I don't think you're going to get the full experience trying these out at the Dome, but I guess it's better than nothing. My Attack Banana is so different on the slop to the Dome. It's great at speed, whereas the Bataleon I've tried was a little chattery (is that even a word?). The serrated edges on the Lib are great for those hard packed or iced over runs. They'll dig in deep and keep you on your board. I've never 'slipped' on this board, where I had on my previous Burton. It's playful and good enough on the powder.
You'll enjoy it if you get one. And don't listen to people saying it's overpriced. If you can afford it, get it! |
