Hi

I have just got back from a week in the Alps with my new set up. Im riding a Burton Custom X (2012) with Burton Diode bindings. I love it!!

However, without fail I would have to tighten up my front binding at least once each day. Ocassionally it got to the point where the binding would move around before I stopped and got the screwdriver out.

For a £900 set up, it shouldnt be doing this?!?

Help? Advice?

Thanks Mad Mad

Mate of mine has similar issues with his custom x. Guess it doesn't help only having 2 screws per binding to hold them to your board.

Have to tried using some sort of thread lock (loctite) to stop them vibrating loose?

What are you using to tighten them? A pocket tool isn't enough, you need a screw driver to get the leverage.

The whole point of ICS boards and EST bindings is that you can undo and move the bindings really quickly and easily on the fly. Anything like lock tight or tape on the screws will stop you from being able to easily undo and redo them since you'd have to re apply it every time you did them up. If you have a brand new board and bindings and the bolts are coming loose all the time i'd take them back because it sounds like the screws are threaded.

Of coures you may not be tightening them up enough in the first place.
